VAMO ARRIBA's Roman Loramendi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's Roberto Rivelino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Loramendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. VAMO ARRIBA's Roman Loramendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Rivelino in the 12th minute of play. Roberto Rivelino struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Roman Loramendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lemel SV. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Rivelino in the 18th minute of play forced VAMO ARRIBA's goalkeeper Roman Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cees Ebbinge came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Lemel SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cees Ebbinge couldn't finish the play. If Jesus Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tim Vrieze fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lemel SV's protests and gave Tim Vrieze a yellow card for diving instead. Tim Vrieze hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Jesus Oxel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raymond Bos, 1-1. In the 39th minute, Roberto Rivelino made a precise shot to the right of Roman Loramendi. VAMO ARRIBA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind VAMO ARRIBA's goalkeeper Roman Loramendi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 45 minutes VAMO ARRIBA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan Sterenberg who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jan Sterenberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VAMO ARRIBA's Roman Loramendi did a great save. After the first half Lemel SV were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Isidoro Francesco made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Rivelino in the 53rd minute of play forced VAMO ARRIBA's goalkeeper Roman Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raymond Bos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Francesco in the 55th minute of play. Lemel SV were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after VAMO ARRIBA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Sterenberg took the corner. Isidoro Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Raymond Bos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raymond Bos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Roberto Rivelino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristobal Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raymond Bos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Oxel's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Roman Loramendi was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Roberto Rivelino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roberto Rivelino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Tuhuteru in the 95th minute of play forced VAMO ARRIBA's goalkeeper Roman Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Marcus Tuhuteru made a precise shot to the right of Roman Loramendi. VAMO ARRIBA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.
