Jonathan Treviño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Libertad Sarmiento in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Real Sociedad getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vicente Millano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Real Sociedad's Ale Kutas got a free kick in the 39th minute. Sauveur Lisundia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Galtero, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. ORION F.C.'s Luis Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Real Sociedad's Sauveur Lisundia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Real Sociedad from getting a goal against them.
