Sauveur Lisundia was a little too slow when Lech Domaradzki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Real Sociedad's Frédéric Pantel got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes, Claude Makélélé mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Sociedad and the Goral Zywiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Claude Makélélé hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sauveur Lisundia made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Macit Şevket sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute of the match, Dawid Andrychowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sauveur Lisundia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Real Sociedad's Sauveur Lisundia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Bronder in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Lukasz Bronder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sauveur Lisundia, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Lukasz Bronder took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Sauveur Lisundia to make any attempt to save it. 27 minutes into the match, Real Sociedad's goal looked a bit too open when Lukasz Bronder came free, but Sauveur Lisundia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukasz Bronder got free with Sauveur Lisundia in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wladyslaw Kasiewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Libertad Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Sociedad's supporters rose to their feet, but Libertad Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasz Cebula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sauveur Lisundia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukasz Bronder in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Real Sociedad's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Domaradzki came free, but Sauveur Lisundia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Lukasz Bronder made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Real Sociedad defense, Dawid Andrychowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sauveur Lisundia. The Real Sociedad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sauveur Lisundia should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lech Domaradzki in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sauveur Lisundia saved Real Sociedad from getting behind. Dawid Andrychowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sauveur Lisundia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Domaradzki in the 65th minute of play forced Real Sociedad's goalkeeper Sauveur Lisundia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wladyslaw Kasiewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Real Sociedad booed when Goral Zywiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Lampe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claude Makélélé hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, Goral Zywiec's Dawid Andrychowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sauveur Lisundia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Sociedad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wang Fei Wei was slow to take the kick. During this time Goral Zywiec's players had a chance to rest. Sauveur Lisundia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wladyslaw Kasiewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When Youri Veillon fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Sociedad's protests and gave Youri Veillon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Youri Veillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sauveur Lisundia came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Goral Zywiec's Lech Domaradzki. But to his dismay, Lech Domaradzki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. 91 minutes into the match, Lukasz Bronder notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Real Sociedad's Sauveur Lisundia. Sauveur Lisundia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
