El Pulpo Paceño's Zornin Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdiano Abello in the 16th minute of the match. When Laurendi Abendano came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the El Pulpo Paceño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurendi Abendano couldn't finish the play. Tohias Abeita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iban Abecia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arthur Bufi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Laurendi Abendano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arthur Bufi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi got control of the ball when Francisco Abalos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tohias Abeita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arthur Bufi came out and tried to block the shot, but Tohias Abeita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 94th minute. Tohias Abeita scored 0-6 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arthur Bufi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Pulpo Paceño were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
