Spectators: 7669 (Terracing: 5752, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) 12 minutes into the match, Academia Club's Dionisio Dolfo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arthur Bufi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Academia Club's Paulo Bartolome got a free kick in the 13th minute. Cristian Gaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Arthur Bufi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Dolfo in the 19th minute of play. Arthur Bufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24th play minutes Dionisio Dolfo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Arthur Bufi and just under the crossbar into goal. Cristian Gaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arthur Bufi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Urtsin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Dolfo in the 32nd minute of play. Cristian Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Bufi having to interfere.

The wind increased when Dionisio Dolfo made the kick off in the second half. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Dolfo in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Academia Club booed when Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arthur Bufi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Gaur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Dolfo in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Sergio Puyol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cruzeiro Esporte Clube the free kick. A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sergio Puyol hit a great ball. Cristian Gaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Bufi having to interfere. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Club's Leandro Ranolfo. But to his dismay, Leandro Ranolfo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Arthur Bufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Bartolome, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Dolfo in the 79th minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dionisio Dolfo in the 81st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Arthur Bufi kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Academia Club played a much better game than Cruzeiro Esporte Clube and deserved their victory. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
