The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tutor Militari's Dumitru Tutorskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Darwin Nunez-Tesheira. Andreas Tutorskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Goy in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 8 minutes, Dumitru Tutorskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tutor Militari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dumitru Tutorskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andreas Tutorskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edyana Arbi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Tutor Militari's Darwin Nunez-Tesheira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 20th minute Olimpiu Oardă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jandia Muda hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of Putra Rewulu booed when Tutor Militari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darwin Nunez-Tesheira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Joni Rahardjo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Tutorskiy. Tutor Militari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joni Rahardjo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Tutor Militari's goal looked a bit too open when Edyana Arbi came free, but Andreas Tutorskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes Tutor Militari got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Tutorskiy. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Darwin Nunez-Tesheira in the 61st minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jandia Muda could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Andreas Tutorskiy however easily saved by the left post. In the 69th minute Darwin Nunez-Tesheira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edyana Arbi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Tutor Militari's Andreas Tutorskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jandia Muda in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Tutor Militari's goal looked a bit too open when Joni Rahardjo came free, but Andreas Tutorskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
