Adrianus Tambunan made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Baldomero Chano sent off a good shot on target. After 33 minutes, Tubagus Kawilarang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putra Rewulu and the LVCVS AVGVSTI players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of LVCVS AVGVSTI booed when Putra Rewulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tubagus Kawilarang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronny Skytt. Baldomero Chano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrianus Tambunan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Putra Rewulu's zone, Du Yuan Chao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianus Tambunan came out of the goal and Du Yuan Chao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrianus Tambunan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Skytt in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Du Yuan Chao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrianus Tambunan was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Chano in the 61st minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute of the match LVCVS AVGVSTI got a corner. Putra Rewulu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anatolio Lozano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led LVCVS AVGVSTI's Anatolio Lozano to fire away a dangerous shot which Adrianus Tambunan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LVCVS AVGVSTI fully deserved thier win.
