Chiel Middeljans started the match with the kick off. Fabian Janssens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Perez in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Chiel Middeljans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Peruxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ayuso in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pendex's Jeronimo Quinito got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Wilco Keldermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ayuso in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Juan Ayuso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Peruxu. Pendex's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Ayuso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Chiel Middeljans took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Peruxu. Bernardino Peruxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Decathlon Dudes's Fabian Janssens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Decathlon Dudes from getting a goal against them. Bernardino Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiel Middeljans, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Chiel Middeljans took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Peruxu. Bernardino Peruxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Fabian Janssens successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Bembe in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Janssens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Daan Wegman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Antonio Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Janssens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiel Middeljans in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Bembe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Daan Wegman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Peruxu made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Chiel Middeljans sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pendex's Antonio Inguma got a free kick in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Pendex's goalkeeper Bernardino Peruxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daan Wegman. Fabian Janssens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Bembe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Peruxu was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Daan Wegman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daan Wegman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The Decathlon Dudes fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Decathlon Dudes's Chiel Middeljans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bernardino Peruxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Ayuso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, Pendex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Bembe to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pendex getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jeronimo Quinito hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Decathlon Dudes had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
