Orlando Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Clementi in the 41st minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Ceferino Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Fernanco in the 48th minute of play forced Peluchita Fc's goalkeeper Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Jeremias Clementi made the kick off in the second half. Celta de Virgos's Ceferino Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Starogardzki in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peluchita Fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Celta de Virgos.
