Bogdan Kornatowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walery Roman went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 33 minutes in the game Waclaw Gorzkiewicz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Szymon Wachna. An unexpectedly hard shot by Przemyslaw Gierasik in the 34th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Espen Granerud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witalis Tamulewicz struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Bogdan Kornatowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hahay. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Przemyslaw Gierasik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mafia Koniaka's supporters rose to their feet, but Przemyslaw Gierasik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Espen Granerud breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bogdan Kornatowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Olejarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Hahay were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Hahay fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Hahay's Arkadiusz Walec looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hahay's Norbert Ciempa was substituted for Krzysztof Soroka. Waclaw Gorzkiewicz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hahay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
