In the 19th minute, Sixto Baristo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Banda del Tinto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 24th minute of the match La Banda del Tinto got a corner. Classe A Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abel Madaleno ran over to the corner to take the kick. La Banda del Tinto's Inocencio Savion was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anatole Nielispach in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Classe A Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abel Madaleno was slow to take the kick. During this time La Banda del Tinto's players had a chance to rest. Peyo Kaadekilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilian de Toledo in the 28th minute of play. Anatole Nielispach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Baristo in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, La Banda del Tinto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Berriotxoa to maneuver through the defense. Peyo Kaadekilde made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Hudson Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Inocencio Savion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When La Banda del Tinto's Inocencio Savion, in the 36th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for La Banda del Tinto. After 38 minutes, Joélson de Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Classe A Futebol Clube and the La Banda del Tinto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joélson de Amorim hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's Sixto Baristo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anatole Nielispach narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Anatole Nielispach was a little too slow when Inocencio Savion got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-3. After a rather tough play, La Banda del Tinto's Sixto Baristo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Peyo Kaadekilde came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Classe A Futebol Clube's Wilian de Toledo. But to his dismay, Wilian de Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The supporters of Classe A Futebol Clube booed when La Banda del Tinto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Baristo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peyo Kaadekilde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the game, Hudson Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Peyo Kaadekilde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Banda del Tinto eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
