In the 26th minute of the match, Luis-Javier Durango got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Joestar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Jonathan Joestar managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Red Hawk Football Club's Luis-Javier Durango fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Joestar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Maroto in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Casals came free, but Jonathan Joestar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Luis-Javier Durango who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formentera's Jonathan Joestar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Joestar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis-Javier Durango's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Formentera's Jonathan Joestar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Formentera from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Enmanuel in the 46th minute of play forced Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Joaquim Trabell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Formentera made a substitution. Blas Estevez replaced Wilfredo Benvide. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis-Javier Durango to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Red Hawk Football Club's Guillem Berenguer got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Silverio Napier charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silverio Napier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquim Trabell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Enmanuel in the 91st minute of the match. Paulo Enmanuel struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Joaquim Trabell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formentera.
