Gualterio Senon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Scalise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Senon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Scalise in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Lea Papá getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Raúl Gordillo hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Elivareo came free, but José Maria Buljubasich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Wilmer Melgar got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Raul Senon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Buljubasich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Claudio Scalise sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualterio Senon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Lea Papá's corner Horacio Carbonari fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gualterio Senon quite easily take care of the ball. When Anier Colas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Colas couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Elivareo in the 40th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper José Maria Buljubasich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Angelino Elivareo sped through Club Atlético Lea Papá's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Maria Buljubasich. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Sugoi made a kick off. Club Atlético Lea Papá's José Maria Buljubasich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Sugoi in the 50th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Scalise in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Senon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudio Scalise struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gualterio Senon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Lea Papá. Claudio Scalise scored 1-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Senon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Valentin Arellano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualterio Senon was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atlético Lea Papá fans cheered their team off the field, for while ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
