Virgilio Pacifico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Scalise in the 8th minute of the match. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Claudio Scalise got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iker Galo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Claudio Scalise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Scalise, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Virgilio Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Carbonari in the 29th minute of play. Claudio Scalise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Virgilio Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Patricio Rey Futbol Club's zone, Marcelo Carracedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Pacifico came out of the goal and Marcelo Carracedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Miguel Tejada fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Lea Papá's protests and gave Miguel Tejada a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Club Atlético Lea Papá got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Tejada. Miguel Tejada kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Claudio Scalise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Pacifico having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toto Škarpa to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Marcelo Carracedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Virgilio Pacifico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Maria Buljubasich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Stark, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Toto Škarpa might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Maria Buljubasich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toto Škarpa ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgilio Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Scalise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Scalise came free, but Virgilio Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Valentin Arellano was substituted for Claudio Scalise. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Raúl Gordillo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ferdinand Agachi in the 85 minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Álvaro Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Virgilio Pacifico got control of the ball when Horacio Carbonari tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Club Atlético Lea Papá players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
