Nicolás Castillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nicolás Castillo made a great header on Norrlands Athen's corner, it was just that ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Gualterio Senon managed to reach the ball for a save. Manfred Fribäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Sugoi in the 13th minute of play. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nicolás Castillo sped through ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gualterio Senon. Gualterio Senon was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Nicolás Castillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolás Castillo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's goalkeeper Gualterio Senon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolás Castillo. Manfred Fribäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qian Zhen Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Nestor Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Sugoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Anier Colas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manfred Fribäck having to make a save. Erik Ljusberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Senon having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolás Castillo came free, but Gualterio Senon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolás Castillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Senon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Gualterio Senon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolás Castillo's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Benicio Arias was substituted for Raul Senon. Norrlands Athen's attentive Qian Zhen Sheng managed to snatch the ball when Benicio Arias made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Manfred Fribäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Elivareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Benicio Arias in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Norrlands Athen's Filcho Slivkov. After some careless play in the ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ defense, Gilbert Hermansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Senon. The ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Senon should have stopped the shot. Erik Ljusberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gualterio Senon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Gilbert Hermansson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Gualterio Senon. Gualterio Senon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the match, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Ljusberg came free, but Gualterio Senon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Norrlands Athen had won after a very even match.
