After some careless play in the Khachatryan defense, Andrei Arghiroiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tigran Balayan. The Khachatryan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tigran Balayan should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arin Mndoyants in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nechifor Curuțiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nechifor Curuțiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arin Mndoyants in the 29th minute of play. Nechifor Curuțiu made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Arin Mndoyants sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurtis Wooten got free with Nechifor Curuțiu in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arin Mndoyants was the one to do the kick off. Tigran Balayan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Doicaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nechifor Curuțiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arin Mndoyants in the 78th minute of the match.
