Vágner de Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Vilas Boas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vágner de Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Viklund made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Américo Vasconcelos sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Ni Feng Nan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warren FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Delfim Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ni Feng Nan in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner de Queiroz in the 25th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvério Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Viklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner de Queiroz came free, but Delfim Vilas Boas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Roberto Pires charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Roberto Pires the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Pires to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the game, Cássio Vilarinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZ Fénix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Warren FC - DMZ the free kick. The MZ Fénix players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Warren FC - DMZ were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vágner de Queiroz to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's Vágner de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delfim Vilas Boas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute of the match Severino Camargo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Viklund skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Vasconcelos in the 60th minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Daniel Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Vasconcelos in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Léo Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warren FC - DMZ made a substitution. Felipe Luis replaced David Luis. After 69 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Américo Vasconcelos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vágner de Queiroz got free with Delfim Vilas Boas in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frederico Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Vasconcelos in the 83rd minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Daniel Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warren FC - DMZ's Kiko Vides quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Manuel Rego, made in the 86th minute of the game. In the 90th minute Frederico Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The MZ Fénix supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Warren FC - DMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Warren FC - DMZ.
