In the 6th minute, Lode Rouvroys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes in the game Blas Lertxun did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lode Rouvroys. Jorge Reijnders kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Alejo Otsando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cederik Huts having to make a save. In the 17th minute Alejo Otsando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Ali Cafer Yener had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Reijnders. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Reijnders kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ali Cafer Yener. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Trabzonspor's Alejo Otsando got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Otsando in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes Kickers United got a freekick which was hit by Martial Van Mellaert. Trabzonspor's Lucio Claus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cederik Huts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ali Cafer Yener made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lode Rouvroys sent off a good shot on target. In the 47thth minute of the game Alejo Otsando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kickers United's Cederik Huts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Reijnders to strike the kick off in the second half. Ali Cafer Yener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Reijnders, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Alejo Otsando dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cederik Huts, 3-1. 62 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Otsando came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Leenders in the 74th minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Ali Cafer Yener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Cafer Yener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Raes in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Trabzonspor getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Kerem Erek hit a great ball. Ali Cafer Yener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lode Rouvroys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kerem Erek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kerem Erek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Cederik Huts made a huge save. Kerem Erek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cederik Huts having to make a save. Cederik Huts made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Kerem Erek sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, İsmet Yalçıner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Leenders kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Kickers United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
