Clive Holloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Tupper in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Baykal Alkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilkka Markkula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Brice Gamble left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Staffy Terrier FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Staffy Terrier FC's Clive Holloway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zhi Chuan in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Baykal Alkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ilkka Markkula was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clive Holloway made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Tupper in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Club Deportes Santa Cruz got a corner. Staffy Terrier FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qu Zheng Song ran over to the corner to take the kick. Raimundo Tupper hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Clive Holloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Tupper in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Club Deportes Santa Cruz were awarded a corner. Qu Zheng Song went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Club Deportes Santa Cruz getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Yan Zhi Chuan hit a great ball. After 26 minutes Club Deportes Santa Cruz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogelio Espiridion who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Tupper got free with Clive Holloway in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Clive Holloway threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raimundo Tupper, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Staffy Terrier FC's Clive Holloway got control of the ball when Raimundo Tupper tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clive Holloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Zhi Chuan in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Clive Holloway had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Podador Raheiro. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Podador Raheiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Clive Holloway to make any attempt to save it.
Club Deportes Santa Cruz made a substitution. Marcus Edström replaced Raimundo Tupper. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Edström to strike the kick off in the second half. Staffy Terrier FC's Baykal Alkan got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Marcus Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clive Holloway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staffy Terrier FC's Clive Holloway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Edström in the 56th minute of play. Yan Zhi Chuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Holloway having to interfere. Clive Holloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Edström, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ilkka Markkula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Zanardi in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg Ilkka Markkula managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Staffy Terrier FC's Baykal Alkan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pepe Guardiola kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. A collision led to Staffy Terrier FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Pepe Guardiola hit a great ball. Qu Zheng Song, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Ilkka Markkula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Zanardi in the 72nd minute of play. Ilkka Markkula made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Baykal Alkan sent off a good shot on target. Clive Holloway showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trayko Gradinarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Zhi Chuan came free, but Clive Holloway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clive Holloway was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilkka Markkula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Zanardi in the 89th minute. Matt Sullivan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 91 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Staffy Terrier FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Club Deportes Santa Cruz a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Qu Zheng Song, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Staffy Terrier FC's Clive Holloway. 4-2. 97 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Edström came free, but Clive Holloway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Marcus Edström in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Staffy Terrier FC's goalie prevented a goal. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
