In the 29th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camron Rhodes to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes Ríver Late got a freekick which was hit by Roberto-Carlos Gentenaar. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Benny White hit a great ball. Grant Blacknell made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Serhat Oytunç sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Serhat Oytunç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Alexander Cheetham got a free kick in the 58th minute. Grant Blacknell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordera Pardaves in the 66th minute of play. After 72 minutes, Denzil Howarth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leicester Lions and the Ríver Late players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Denzil Howarth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ríver Late's Carl Skytt was substituted for Vitin Corzana. Ríver Late made a substitution. The crowd rose to their feet as Camron Rhodes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Irakliy Ozhogin. That made the score 1-2 in the 88 minute of play. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kalle Fors hit a great ball. Will Patton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irakliy Ozhogin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimas Barrientos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ríver Late's Irakliy Ozhogin got control of the ball when Connor Branston tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leicester Lions's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
