The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abel Ramalho scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oséas Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Abel Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oséas Baptista. Militros F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 16thth minute of the game Abel Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Militros F.C.'s Oséas Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Willian Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Machado in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Nuno Fernandez got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Militros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Abel Ramalho came free, but Oséas Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Radomir Zieba in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ricart Futebol Clube's Nuno Fernandez. Militros F.C.'s Oséas Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Ramalho in the 30th minute of play. Oséas Baptista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Ramalho went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Oséas Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Ramalho to make the kick off. If Abel Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer hit a great ball. The supporters of Ricart Futebol Clube booed when Militros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rik Hello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricart Futebol Clube made a substitution. José Augusto Tepedino replaced Frank de Moraes. In the 58th match minute, Militros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rik Hello to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldão Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Willian Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Militros F.C. made a substitution. Pedrinho do Valle replaced Ronaldão Silva. After some careless play in the Militros F.C. defense, Abel Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oséas Baptista. The Militros F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oséas Baptista should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Ricart Futebol Clube's Willian Valladares got control of the ball when Pedrinho do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oséas Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Ramalho in the 83rd minute of play forced Militros F.C.'s goalkeeper Oséas Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséas Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovânio Gerber in the 85th minute of the match.
