Spectators: 8560 (Terracing: 6421, Seating: 1968, VIP seats: 171) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel Almiron kicked off to start the match. SS SuperSonics were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Glasgow Rangers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexander Rosén took the corner. 7 minutes into the game, Aldo Macchione cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jerzy Dudek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Rosén in the 17th minute of play forced Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Anfilogino Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mai Bo Shu. Anfilogino Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wincenty Chlebek went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Glasgow Rangers FC's Aldo Macchione ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jerzy Dudek. Jerzy Dudek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After 34 played minutes SS SuperSonics got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Olchowy. Glasgow Rangers FC's Alessio Tristezza got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glasgow Rangers FC's Anfilogino Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Almiron in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Wincenty Chlebek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anfilogino Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Dudek made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Aldo Macchione sent off a good shot on target. Tayyip İzci made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wincenty Chlebek immediately put the ball in play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, Aurelio Domenici was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glasgow Rangers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SS SuperSonics the free kick. Jerzy Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Tristezza in the 54th minute of the match. Anfilogino Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Rosén in the 55th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, SS SuperSonics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Kocieniewski to maneuver through the defense. Anfilogino Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Chlebek in the 79th minute of the match. Anfilogino Fantini came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by SS SuperSonics's Wincenty Chlebek. But to his dismay, Wincenty Chlebek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After some careless play in the SS SuperSonics defense, Bruno Mariotti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Dudek. The SS SuperSonics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Dudek should have stopped the shot. After 88 played minutes Glasgow Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Mai Bo Shu. Anfilogino Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Chlebek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Glasgow Rangers FC's Anfilogino Fantini got control of the ball when Alexander Rosén tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Glasgow Rangers FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SS SuperSonics had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
