When Egídio Senna fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ogro F.C.'s protests and gave Egídio Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Jason Rullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jason Rullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Aguilar in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute Jorge Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Rullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ogro F.C.'s Jason Rullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mendiko in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Mendiko in the 42nd minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Jason Rullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ogro F.C.'s Clive Burr was substituted for Cacá Jacinto. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deen Castronovo to make the kick off. Lennart Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clive Burr in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Lilla Jordberga BK's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Veiga came free, but Lennart Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Lilla Jordberga BK defense, Clive Burr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Johansson. The Lilla Jordberga BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Johansson should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josh Freese during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Josh Freese hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ogro F.C.'s Clive Burr got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Freitas in the 80th minute of play forced Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Lennart Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Clive Burr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lennart Johansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 92 minutes of play, Ogro F.C.'s Clive Burr made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lennart Johansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deen Castronovo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lennart Johansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deen Castronovo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deen Castronovo in the 95th minute of play forced Lilla Jordberga BK's goalkeeper Lennart Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
