The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 24th minute Roman Penczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Mielak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kania Gostyń's Adam Walkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartlomiej Wachna in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Mielak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Weyna in the 33rd minute of play forced Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Edward Mielak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Lucjan Waselewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Milosz Walentowicz. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 40th minute, Roman Penczkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Weyna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Penczkowski came free, but Edward Mielak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartlomiej Wachna in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Mielak saved Kania Gostyń from getting behind. After having played for 55 minutes, Roman Penczkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dymarki Wejherowo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Penczkowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edward Mielak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Weyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Weyna in the 60th minute of play forced Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Edward Mielak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartlomiej Wachna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Edward Mielak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edward Mielak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janusz Weyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Bartlomiej Wachna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miromir Miarka hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Stanislaw Wieczorek put in a rough tackle. Lucjan Waselewicz took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Milosz Walentowicz. Milosz Walentowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Edward Mielak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Kisielka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roman Penczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Penczkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
