Reimundo Nobajas charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reimundo Nobajas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Balkes FC's Reimundo Nobajas got a free kick in the 8th minute. Xamo Viladrosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentín Saravia, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Manos Manteca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iván Sotomayor went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Iván Sotomayor took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Manteca. Manos Manteca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Balkes FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Reimundo Nobajas hit a great ball. When Balkes FC's Iván Sotomayor in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U. de Tarapacá's goalie prevented a goal. Sezen Taşkın took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xamo Viladrosa. Xamo Viladrosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Manos Manteca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Sotomayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Balkes FC's Mikeldi Barzana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manos Manteca in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Iván Sotomayor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manos Manteca. U. de Tarapacá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iván Sotomayor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Geraldo Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Alam Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Julio Almi made a kick off. Iván Sotomayor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 63 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Sotomayor came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Julio Almi in the 64th minute of play forced Balkes FC's goalkeeper Xamo Viladrosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Balkes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Raab came free, but Xamo Viladrosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xalvador Quijada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Viladrosa having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, U. de Tarapacá's Alam Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xamo Viladrosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 89th match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulín Jurado to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Balkes FC booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Venturino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calle Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 97 minutes of play, U. de Tarapacá's Paco Raab made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xamo Viladrosa was left in no man's land by his defense there!
