The referee ignored Wisła Kraków's protests and gave Norbert Pstrongowski a yellow card for diving instead. Radomir Pracki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Mirande in the 61st minute of the match. Wisła Kraków's Radomir Pracki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Mirande in the 63rd minute of play. Donato Arotza scored 6-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radomir Pracki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wasyl Ludzia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Wisła Kraków's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rigoberto Argoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Rigoberto Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Pracki having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Quilmes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
