Norberto Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Rowley's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Frazer Martin came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Loures's Abílio Mesquita. But to his dismay, Abílio Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Frazer Martin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Palmiro Sarmento. 8 minutes into the match, Arthur Rowley notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Loures's Norberto Barbosa. Norberto Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, Loures's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Ball came free, but Norberto Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Abílio Mesquita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leicester Foxes Academy's Frazer Martin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Loures defense, Felix Ball kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Barbosa. The Loures fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Barbosa should have stopped the shot. When Abílio Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loures's protests and gave Abílio Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Shaun Hatcher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Felix Ball fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leicester Foxes Academy's protests and gave Felix Ball a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 minutes, Jacinto Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loures and the Leicester Foxes Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Loures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Freire to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes of play, Leicester Foxes Academy's Arthur Rowley made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Barbosa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute Felix Ball shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Severino Calçada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loures's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leicester Foxes Academy the free kick. A collision led to Loures getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Severino Calçada hit a great ball. Norberto Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Rowley in the 41st minute of the match. Norberto Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kelvin Eyre, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Leicester Foxes Academy were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abílio Mesquita was the one to do the kick off. Severino Calçada was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Loures getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Severino Calçada hit a great ball. Kelvin Eyre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Norberto Barbosa came out and tried to block the shot, but Kelvin Eyre slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Loures's Ilídio Tavares got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Norberto Barbosa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Leicester Foxes Academy's Arthur Rowley shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-6 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Loures defense, Arthur Rowley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Barbosa. The Loures fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Barbosa should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Arthur Rowley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Norberto Barbosa, 1-8. Loures's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Kelvin Eyre scored to the left of an out of position Norberto Barbosa, making the score, 1-10. 81 minutes into the match, Loures's goalkeeper Norberto Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kelvin Eyre. Loures's Norberto Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Ball in the 82nd minute of play. Norberto Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Rowley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shaun Hatcher made a great header on Leicester Foxes Academy's corner, it was just that Loures's Norberto Barbosa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 86th play minute Kelvin Eyre came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Norberto Barbosa. 1-11. Jacinto Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Rowley in the 91st minute of play forced Loures's goalkeeper Norberto Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leroy Button during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leroy Button hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Arthur Rowley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norberto Barbosa. That made the score 1-12 in the 94 minute of play. Leicester Foxes Academy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
