The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rutger Gustafsson during the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Aírton Leite got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Cheetah Team's Jörgen Qvalfeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Cheetah Team from getting a goal against them. Jörgen Qvalfeldt made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Roberto Secco sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Cactos booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egon Nordmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jörgen Qvalfeldt made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Aírton Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cactos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jörgen Qvalfeldt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Santos in the 44th minute. With a little luck, Cheetah Team's Jörgen Qvalfeldt got control of the ball when Diamantino Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cactos's Vicente Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Santos came free, but Jörgen Qvalfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Cactos's Diamantino Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jörgen Qvalfeldt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The audience was convinced that Diamantino Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörgen Qvalfeldt was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After 69 minutes of play, Cactos's Diamantino Santos made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörgen Qvalfeldt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jörgen Qvalfeldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aírton Leite went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Jörgen Qvalfeldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franklin Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Oskar Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deivid Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Leite in the 84th minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Jörgen Qvalfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Diamantino Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörgen Qvalfeldt was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. A sloppy throw-in by Jailson Leite in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cheetah Team's Göran Stål. In the 92nd minute, Diamantino Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cactos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Jörgen Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Santos in the 95th minute of play. Diamantino Santos scored 11-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jörgen Qvalfeldt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cactos fully deserved thier win.
