The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tibor Bódi got free with Horaţiu Proca in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, José Capablanca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Csaba Mayer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Horaţiu Proca made a huge save. Márton Szepesvári took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Neaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Neaga in the 25th minute of play forced White Raven FC.'s goalkeeper Márton Szepesvári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
