Mansour Al Ramzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Markus Albäck came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Tigers's Jarah Al Shemali. But to his dismay, Jarah Al Shemali quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarah Al Shemali in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Albäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Golden Tigers's Mansour Al Ramzi got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Golden Tigers's Khalaf Kakoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markus Albäck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mansour Al Ramzi in the 26th minute of play forced Nye's goalkeeper Markus Albäck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Mansour Al Ramzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Golden Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Nye defense, Abdul Rahman Al Youha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Albäck. The Nye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Albäck should have stopped the shot. Markus Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdul Rahman Al Youha in the 36th minute of play. Markus Albäck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalaf Kakoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Abdul Rahman Al Youha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Albäck. Nye's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdul Rahman Al Youha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. A collision led to Golden Tigers getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Abdul Rahman Al Youha hit a great ball. Markus Albäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansour Al Ramzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philip Hedvall was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Mansour Al Ramzi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Markus Albäck. Mansour Al Ramzi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Khalaf Kakoli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Markus Albäck came out and tried to block the shot, but Khalaf Kakoli slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Khalaf Kakoli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Markus Albäck. Khalaf Kakoli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 63 minutes into the match, Nye's goal looked a bit too open when Khalaf Kakoli came free, but Markus Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Henric Nordström fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nye's protests and gave Henric Nordström a yellow card for diving instead. Nye's Markus Albäck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Nye from getting a goal against them. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match was over Golden Tigers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nye throughout the match.
