The referee showed Ron Kant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernard Ryers made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Leonard Podolski sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Forza Heppenbach's goalkeeper Bernard Ryers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Podolski. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nino Celis made a kick off. Bernard Ryers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Banas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Mateusz Falke successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
