Romulo Sergi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Tome when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romulo Sergi took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Tome. Melquiades Tome dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Melquiades Tome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Matxin in the 15th minute of the match. Silverio Polentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Eusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Tome was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Romulo Sergi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romulo Sergi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. A collision led to Scaloneta FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Romulo Sergi hit a great ball. Silverio Polentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Tome was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romulo Sergi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 28 minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Silvano Miliano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scaloneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 17 de enero team the free kick. The supporters of 17 de enero team booed when Scaloneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on 17 de enero team's corner Bonifacio Llope fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silverio Polentzi quite easily take care of the ball. In the 38th minute, 17 de enero team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rodri De Paul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Teofilo Matxin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Tome having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Donato Tabor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 17 de enero team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Matxin was the one to do the kick off. When Blas Eusko came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the 17 de enero team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Eusko couldn't finish the play. After 58 played minutes Scaloneta FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodri De Paul. 17 de enero team's Melquiades Tome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Matxin in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, 17 de enero team's Emiliano Lawrence got a free kick in the 67th minute. Melquiades Tome showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Matxin in the 68th minute of the match. Melquiades Tome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Matxin in the 69th minute of play. After 93 played minutes 17 de enero team got a freekick which was hit by Blas Eusko. Bernabe Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
