Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Endura came free, but Americo Ieltxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes of play, C. A. Atlanta's Genaro Inocente made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiberto Nofre was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the game, Federico Gil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Mitre City the free kick. In the 9th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Gil to maneuver through the defense. Americo Ieltxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Endura, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Americo Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Endura in the 13th minute of play. If Dalmacio Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20thth minute of the game Dalmacio Endura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Americo Ieltxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Guillermo Nesto fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Atlanta's protests and gave Guillermo Nesto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Guillermo Nesto got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dalmacio Endura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Ieltxu having to interfere. Geronimo Beti's late challenge caught a C. A. Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geronimo Beti helped the player get up and apologised. 44 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's Federico Gil broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmacio Endura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Ildefonso Gonchan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Ieltxu came out of the goal and Ildefonso Gonchan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Ieltxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Endura's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Dalmacio Endura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Ieltxu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ildefonso Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Mitre City's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Gonchan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Ieltxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Dalmacio Endura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute of the match, Dalmacio Endura got a very nice opportunity to score, but Americo Ieltxu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elpidio Vargas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Endura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Americo Ieltxu made a huge save. 2-1 became the score in the 72nd minute when Dalmacio Endura elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Endura came free, but Americo Ieltxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmacio Endura kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 2-2 became the score in the 83rd minute when Dalmacio Endura elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Genaro Inocente hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Endura in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Ieltxu saved C. A. Atlanta from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Domingo Jesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dalmacio Endura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Mitre City's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Endura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Ieltxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C. A. Atlanta were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
