Deivid Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Tirso Benito made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolando Silvestre to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Valleslona F.C.'s Zé Carlos Britto threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arturo Cortes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. During the 57th minute of the match Gartzea Bermejo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gartzea Bermejo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Pragmáticos 1903's much stronger midfield.
