The supporters of Pau Nas Canelas booed when Bustick Sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Pau Nas Canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Monsanto to maneuver through the defense. Matias Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinho Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Palmiro Picasso in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Haimar saved Bustick Sport from getting behind. Pau Nas Canelas's Gentil Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Restu in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute Edinho Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edinho Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Haimar was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Matias Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmiro Picasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

Perry Barrios took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gentil Miranda. Gentil Miranda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Placido Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Edinho Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmiro Picasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matias Haimar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Palmiro Picasso ran back to his position shaking his head. Matias Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmiro Picasso in the 60th minute of play. Palmiro Picasso struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Matias Haimar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pau Nas Canelas. Palmiro Picasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edinho Moraes during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edinho Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Bustick Sport's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Moraes came free, but Matias Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pau Nas Canelas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Palmiro Picasso in the 76th minute. Perry Barrios's late challenge caught a Pau Nas Canelas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Perry Barrios helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bustick Sport getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Perry Barrios hit a great ball. Bustick Sport's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
