Gentil Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Augusto Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentil Miranda having to interfere. Ismael Haritzeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Moraes in the 19th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Edinho Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ismael Haritzeder. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. When Pau Nas Canelas's Edinho Moraes in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalie prevented a goal. After 27 played minutes Edinho Moraes rounded C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After 30 minutes, Isidoro Nesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE and the Pau Nas Canelas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Isidoro Nesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edinho Moraes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Haritzeder having to make a save. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Ismael Haritzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Moraes in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Nuno Cordeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Haritzeder was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Fernando Ribas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ismael Haritzeder made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Nuno Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. If Nuno Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludomir Barna hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Nesto made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Gentil Miranda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Pau Nas Canelas booed when C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of C.S. y D. Ismael Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Moraes in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute Nuno Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Haritzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Domingo Navarro in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pau Nas Canelas's Daniel Monsanto. Nuno Cordeiro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ismael Haritzeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pau Nas Canelas. 84 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomir Barna came free, but Ismael Haritzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Nuno Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Haritzeder. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Ismael Haritzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Moraes in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Silvio Mincho hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Edinho Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Haritzeder. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
