Hector Ebardo took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zula Chlapowski. Zula Chlapowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Zula Chlapowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Chico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zula Chlapowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Chico in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Barnaba Pruss mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Autolycus and the ToCoTaN FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Barnaba Pruss hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes FC Autolycus got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Orszak. In the 17th minute Wincenty Orszak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Hechter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Wincenty Orszak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilano Hechter was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 25th minute Adam Wojtkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Hechter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Autolycus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wasyl Malewicz in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Autolycus's Barnaba Pruss got a free kick in the 27th minute. Atilano Hechter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Orszak in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Wincenty Orszak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Atilano Hechter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the game, Dawid Pysz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Autolycus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ToCoTaN FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Autolycus's Dawid Pysz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Wincenty Orszak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Hechter having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Wincenty Orszak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Zula Chlapowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Simon Chico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zula Chlapowski. The goal made the score 2-1. If Wincenty Orszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simon Chico was the one to do the kick off.
