The referee ignored Tierra del Fuego FC's protests and gave Gustavo Mendiko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Gustavo Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Iyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rosendo Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Raymundo lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Martin Rito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Arixo in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saverio Orlo was the one to do the kick off. BELGRANO got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Mendebal. BELGRANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Eufemio didn't get a good kick on the ball. BELGRANO's Martin Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Orlo in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tierra del Fuego FC had played much better football throughout.
