Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kuddusî Yazargil took the kick off in the first half of the match. BANAT VIOLA's Emilio Miconi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save BANAT VIOLA from getting a goal against them. In the 4th minute, Gigi Barbu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BANAT VIOLA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 8 played minutes S.P.Q.R. got a freekick which was hit by Batur Turbay. Liviu Hănescu took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özen Akburç. Özen Akburç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Batur Turbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Liviu Hănescu came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the BANAT VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Hănescu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to BANAT VIOLA getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Emanuel Dășanu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuddusî Yazargil in the 24th minute of play forced BANAT VIOLA's goalkeeper Emilio Miconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S.P.Q.R.'s Kuddusî Yazargil got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute Kuddusî Yazargil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Miconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Miconi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuddusî Yazargil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melih Boysan charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melih Boysan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes S.P.Q.R. got a freekick which was hit by Melih Boysan. In the 46th minute, Talat Yenay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half BANAT VIOLA were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Hănescu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, BANAT VIOLA's Mihai Tatulici got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Mustafa Emrah Pamiroğlu fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.P.Q.R.'s protests and gave Mustafa Emrah Pamiroğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to S.P.Q.R. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mustafa Emrah Pamiroğlu hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, BANAT VIOLA's Özen Akburç threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isac Răduț, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Talat Yenay fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.P.Q.R.'s protests and gave Talat Yenay a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to S.P.Q.R. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Talat Yenay hit a great ball. Batur Turbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Miconi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Răduț in the 77th minute of play forced S.P.Q.R.'s goalkeeper Özen Akburç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Kuddusî Yazargil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Miconi was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. When Derman Ülker fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
