GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Pillado to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Hănescu in the 20th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Arias Burgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. If Alfaro Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alfaro Moreno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Miconi was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Kléber Goyanes got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

GUAYACO fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when C.A. GUAYACO's Xiao Gaztelumendi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. BANAT VIOLA's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
