Taco Roorda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betadur Medel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th match minute, Osdorp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Brandsma to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Betadur Medel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taco Roorda. Osdorp FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Betadur Medel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Rodrigo Alvarez made a precise shot to the right of Taco Roorda. Osdorp FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 28 minutes into the game, Arias Castañares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Taco Roorda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the game, Montevideo City Torque's Arias Castañares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taco Roorda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 37th minute of the match Arias Castañares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Taco Roorda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 38 played minutes Osdorp FC got a freekick which was hit by Gert Brandsma. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Rodrigo Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montevideo City Torque's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taco Roorda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manoel Loarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Roelofs in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Oliveiro Herrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Taco Roorda. Osdorp FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oliveiro Herrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Montevideo City Torque's Manoel Loarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Solis in the 55th minute of play. Taco Roorda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveiro Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Gert Brandsma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manoel Loarte. Montevideo City Torque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gert Brandsma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. In the 67th minute Rodrigo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Roorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Montevideo City Torque's Betadur Medel made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Taco Roorda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manoel Loarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Solis in the 75th minute of play. Berriotxoa Andolz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Manoel Loarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Baker, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Gert Brandsma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manoel Loarte. Montevideo City Torque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gert Brandsma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-6. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when Osdorp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogier Kleinman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taco Roorda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betadur Medel in the 83rd minute of play. Oliveiro Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, one of Osdorp FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Osdorp FC. In the 92nd minute Pascal Baker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Loarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gert Brandsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Osdorp FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Solis. In the 95th minute Arias Castañares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Roorda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Montevideo City Torque had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
