Hisingen IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Augusto do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Armando Botelho scored 1-5 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Konrad Lilja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Marcinho Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
