Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Isaac Marcones started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Flores during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Rodolfo Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Americo Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Los Trip defense, Albano Seber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Aurken. The Los Trip fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Aurken should have stopped the shot. In the 24th match minute, Los Trip was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Urre to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Urre in the 30th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield's goalkeeper Uriel Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Urre in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Tomas Shepherd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uriel Raymon skillfully saved the ball. After 43 played minutes Velez Sarsfield got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Mendebal. 44 minutes into the match, Los Trip's Carlos Urre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Raymon narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Carlos Urre made the kick off in the second half. Americo Aurken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Sarracino in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Niceto Ofelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Trip's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velez Sarsfield the free kick. A collision led to Los Trip getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Niceto Ofelio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Sarracino in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Aurken saved Los Trip from getting behind. The supporters of Los Trip booed when Velez Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Lizer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Urre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Uriel Raymon made a huge save. Isaac Marcones kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th play minute Carlos Urre came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Uriel Raymon. 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, Los Trip's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Sarracino came free, but Americo Aurken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uriel Raymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 89th minute Fulgencio Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Raymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Los Trip's Sixto Frichoso got a free kick in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Trip's zone, Victorio Gilesindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Aurken came out of the goal and Victorio Gilesindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Velez Sarsfield's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
