Fabian Borg charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Borg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sliema Dragons FC's Julian Savona got a free kick in the 35th minute. Luis Tauro made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jean Carl Mamo sent off a good shot on target. The wind increased when Martin Mangion made the kick off in the second half. Luis Tauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mike Salamone in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Martin Mangion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Luis Tauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bruno Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Imрêriо Aztêćâ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Faustino Hegoi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Imрêriо Aztêćâ's Israel Herensuge got a free kick in the 75th minute. Mike Salamone struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Luis Tauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sliema Dragons FC. In the 84th match minute, Sliema Dragons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Savona to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Sebastian Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imрêriо Aztêćâ's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Chayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Bruno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 minutes, Martin Mangion made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Imрêriо Aztêćâ's Luis Tauro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sliema Dragons FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Imрêriо Aztêćâ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
