Martin Mangion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pawel Werra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Martin Mangion took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pawel Werra. Pawel Werra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Alkomaty's goalkeeper Pawel Werra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Martin Mangion notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Alkomaty's Pawel Werra. Pawel Werra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Szymon Major fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Alkomaty's protests and gave Szymon Major a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Mangion in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pawel Werra saved FC Alkomaty from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Martin Mangion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pawel Werra was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Julian Savona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Pawel Werra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Sliema Dragons FC's Jean Carl Mamo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pawel Werra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, FC Alkomaty's Szymon Major got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Pawel Werra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mangion in the 36th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, FC Alkomaty's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Mangion came free, but Pawel Werra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Martin Mangion notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of FC Alkomaty's Pawel Werra. Pawel Werra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Isaac Grimaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The wind increased when Szymon Major made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Leo Scalpello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sliema Dragons FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Alkomaty the free kick. A collision led to Sliema Dragons FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Leo Scalpello hit a great ball. Aleksander Golaszewski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gabriel Bruno. Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Szymon Major hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Pawel Werra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Mangion's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. FC Alkomaty's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Martin Mangion scored to the left of an out of position Pawel Werra, making the score, 0-6. In the 64th minute, Martin Mangion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Mangion took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pawel Werra. Pawel Werra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. 69 minutes into the match, Martin Mangion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pawel Werra. FC Alkomaty's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Mangion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Martin Mangion's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Pawel Werra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Alkomaty's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Coppini was slow to take the kick. During this time Sliema Dragons FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Harry Coppini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Alkomaty's Pawel Werra did a great save. The Sliema Dragons FC fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd minute of the match Julian Savona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pawel Werra skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Martin Mangion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Alkomaty's Pawel Werra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 84 minutes, Martin Mangion made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. FC Alkomaty's Pawel Werra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Pawel Werra managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Sliema Dragons FC's Martin Mangion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of FC Alkomaty booed when Sliema Dragons FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Grimaud didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mangion in the 91st minute of play forced FC Alkomaty's goalkeeper Pawel Werra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szymon Major sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sliema Dragons FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
