Tomas Etxahun struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Baltasar Roldan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aerolineas Argentinas FC. Marco Ledesma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baltasar Roldan came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Ledesma slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. If Marco Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Mario Ariando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Orti in the 45th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Baltasar Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Ariando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Mario Ariando scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Liberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
