Blumenau Esporte Clube's Raphael Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Ogden in the 2nd minute of play. Tango en Miami FC's Paul Gary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Tango en Miami FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carson McCann in the 44th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Raphael Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristopher Mansfield in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Tango en Miami FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Ogden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carson McCann kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Temple during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tango en Miami FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Francisco Temple hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Carson McCann made a precise shot to the right of Raphael Furlan. Blumenau Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 59 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Temple came free, but Raphael Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Délio Gerber made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Gary was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paul Gary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carson McCann in the 72nd minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Raphael Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Temple came free, but Raphael Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Temple took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raphael Furlan. Raphael Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Blumenau Esporte Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Carson McCann scored to the left of an out of position Raphael Furlan, making the score, 2-6. In the 91st minute, Tango en Miami FC's Carson McCann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Raphael Furlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Tango en Miami FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
