Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) In the 6th minute Dario Gelsomini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Manuel Sempere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTOCABLES 2oo4's goalkeeper Jose Manuel Sempere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Lancelot Huguet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Carmine Latini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinando Petrucci during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Petrucci. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lubor Penev in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmine Latini saved Merceron United from getting behind. After 19 minutes, Evarado Ucero made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Merceron United's Carmine Latini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in INTOCABLES 2oo4's zone, Dino Facchetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Manuel Sempere came out of the goal and Dino Facchetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of INTOCABLES 2oo4 booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Conti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmine Latini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lancelot Huguet in the 27th minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Ennio Guidoni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Manuel Sempere showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to INTOCABLES 2oo4 getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nicanor Marines hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Dario Gelsomini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merceron United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Gelsomini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Ulises Mendez notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Merceron United's Carmine Latini. Carmine Latini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute Dario Gelsomini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Manuel Sempere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dario Gelsomini was the one to do the kick off. Dario Gelsomini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jose Manuel Sempere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmine Latini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evarado Ucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute, Nicanor Marines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match Dino Facchetti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Manuel Sempere skillfully saved the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Merceron United's Dino Facchetti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tomás Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match, Lubor Penev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carmine Latini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st minute Ulises Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Latini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Dino Facchetti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Manuel Sempere skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of INTOCABLES 2oo4 booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Gelsomini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th play minute Lubor Penev came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carmine Latini. 0-6. Carmine Latini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Mendez in the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Ulises Mendez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carmine Latini, passed just outside the right post. INTOCABLES 2oo4 played a much better game than Merceron United and deserved their victory. The Merceron United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
