Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Corneliu Sântimbrean kicked off to start the match. Robert Trandafir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Sântimbrean in the 11th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Filimon in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Trandafir saved FC Amicii Boys from getting behind. After 20 played minutes FC Amicii Boys got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Dacian. After having played for 20 minutes, Dan Filimon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Filimon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Marcu Capșuneanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Trandafir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebiu Levițchi in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Amicii Boys booed when -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Niculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mădălin Dacian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Trandafir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iordache Nica in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mădălin Dacian was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Amicii Boys's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Iordache Nica got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodim Fulga got free with Octav Hortopan in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robert Trandafir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corneliu Sântimbrean's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Dan Filimon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Amicii Boys the free kick. After 43 played minutes -BZF- Fc Gheraseni got a freekick which was hit by Dan Filimon. After a rather tough play, FC Amicii Boys's Mădălin Dacian got a free kick in the 44th minute. Robert Trandafir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Sântimbrean in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Drâmba to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Corneliu Sântimbrean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Trandafir saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 55 minutes into the game, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Corneliu Sântimbrean nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Trandafir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to -BZF- Fc Gheraseni getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cristinel Niculescu hit a great ball. Nicodim Fulga might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octav Hortopan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicodim Fulga ran back to his position shaking his head. Robert Trandafir was a little too slow when Corneliu Sântimbrean got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 67th minute Iordache Nica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Trandafir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the match, Corneliu Sântimbrean tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Trandafir saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 74th minute, Nicodim Cubleșan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Amicii Boys's Robert Trandafir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Nica in the 76th minute of play. Mădălin Dacian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Hortopan having to interfere. In the 81st minute Corneliu Sântimbrean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Trandafir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, FC Amicii Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Sântimbrean came free, but Robert Trandafir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dan Filimon came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Filimon couldn't finish the play. Corneliu Sântimbrean was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 90 minutes into the match, Corneliu Sântimbrean dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robert Trandafir, 0-3. Corneliu Sântimbrean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Trandafir having to interfere. The -BZF- Fc Gheraseni supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing -BZF- Fc Gheraseni would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
