Markos Kokotoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Urdin having to make a save. With an all-out effort, RO Army V55's Benjamin Urdin threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Markos Kokotoulis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 7th minute, Marin Duna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. RO Army V55's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Rencio in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by RO Army V55's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Generoso Jaizki was slow to take the kick. During this time BAIRES's players had a chance to rest. BAIRES's Generoso Jaizki was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Helmuth Duckadam in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Rencio in the 18th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Markos Kokotoulis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Urdin. BAIRES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markos Kokotoulis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 29th match minute, BAIRES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Rencio to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Eustratios Lemonis took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benjamin Urdin to make any attempt to save it. If Eustratios Lemonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Jaizki was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes BAIRES got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Jaizki. A collision led to BAIRES getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jeremias Mederi hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Markos Kokotoulis made a kick off. Benjamin Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustratios Lemonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markos Kokotoulis in the 73rd minute of play forced BAIRES's goalkeeper Benjamin Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Urdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markos Kokotoulis's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Cornelio Santio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When RO Army V55's Markos Kokotoulis in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BAIRES's goalie prevented a goal. Benjamin Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustratios Lemonis in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markos Kokotoulis during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to RO Army V55 getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Markos Kokotoulis hit a great ball. After some careless play in the BAIRES defense, Markos Kokotoulis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Urdin. The BAIRES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Urdin should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RO Army V55 had played much better football throughout.
